On arrival greeting to the crowd of ArunachalClad in Arunachal traditional attire, “Pai Pai ka Hisaab Manngo” thundered Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing the mammoth gathering here in I.G.Park Itanagar. He was on a visit to state capital on 20th February 2015. The comment drew huge applause from the packed Park, sending a clear message to the politicians and bureaucrats, technocrats and contractors in the state to behave themselves and not misuse public money.

It was the first ever visit of Narendra Modi to Arunachal Pradesh after being sworn in as Prime Minister of India. Earlier, prior to assuming his Prime Minister chair, Modi visited the state to campaign for his party the saffron brigade at Pasighat in East Siang District and Itanagar, Papum Pare District. Though his party lost the election but people of the state had always been believing that under the able leadership of Modi as PM the phase of transformation and overall growth of each and every NE state will see “Ache Din” soon. His visit to this easternmost part of the country had clearly indicated for the overall growth and development of all NE states and sending a clear message to other countries that each and every inch of NE states are integral part of India and in no way India will part from it.
