Veera (Rani Mukherjee) is a village girl who’s passion is cricket. While Veera dreams on in India, Rohan (Shahid Kapoor) returns to India to captain his father’s cricket team.
Social norms force Veera to dress up as a man in order to play cricket. Eventually she earns a place in Rohan’s team.There on begins Veera and Rohan’s story, a story of music, romance and comical situations.
