A DECADE OF PEITNGOR CABLE NEWS
The Grand Finale of the completion of ten years of ‘Peitngor Cable News’ (PCN) service to the people was held recently at U SOSO THAM AUDITORIUM, Shillong. The Chief Guest of the programme was the Governor of Meghalaya, Shri. R. S. Mooshahary said, “There should be a great sense of adventure and entrepreneurship while disseminating information to the people of the state.”
The Chief Minister of Meghalaya also witnessed the programme and was the Guest of Honour. Speaking on the occasion, he said, “PCN needs to look beyond this achievement and march ahead bringing in many more accolades for themselves.”
Earlier Mr. Baluk Blah, the owner of PCN, said in his speech, “This is a turning point for PCN and we are all ready for a new beginning. I thank all the staff members of PCN for their contribution without whom we could not have reached this milestone.”
PCN began its journey on the 2nd of October 1999 and is arguably the most popular privately owned local news channel in Meghalaya.
