ADB [Asian Development Bank] is hopeful that Myanmar’s economic growth will increase by 1.2 percent in the fiscal year 2016-2017. Accordingly, Myanmar’s economic growth will reach 8.4 percent in the fiscal year 2016-2017, up from 7.2 percent in 2015-2016. The inflation will remain high at 9.5 percent for the 2016-2017 but will decrease to 8.5 percent in 2017-2018.
