Hailing from a rural helmet of Chizami village under Phek district, Khwetelhi Thopi has the ambition to play in big Football club’s of the country from his school days till his graduation.

 

 This March, that became a reality as Khwtelhi Thopi, who was on loan to Aizawl FC from Rangdajied FC, Shillong played the India-League .The first player from Nagaland to play in renamed I-League.

Earlier in August 2014, the 24 year-old, known as Thopi inked a five-month deal with Rangdajied Football Club Shillong. Later it got renewed and he will be part of the team till 2016. He is one of the few Naga players who is all set to don the jersey of big football clubs in the country.
