Team from Manipur performs 103 surgeries on 87 patients in Monywa General Hospital of Myanmar.  Chief Minister of Manipur O Ibobi Singh has proposed construction of 100 bedded hospital on PPP model at Monywa and requested Chief Minister of Sagaing region to alot 50 acres of land. The proposed hospital will be funded by India. The hospital has a scope of being established as a medical college with a capacity of 100 students out which Myanmar will have 75%of the seats and Northeast India wil get the rest 25%.
