The Return of Tini Mohini Thapa
The ongoing sensation of Mizoram Tini Mohini Thapa who had reached up to the Top-40 of the ongoing 5th season 
of the popular reality show Indian Idol 2010 is being notably invited by Sony Television Network / Company to produce a Hindi Music Video in Mumbai. Tinie had accepted the challenge and hopes that everything will go well for her this time. She had recently completed the shooting of a video album featuring the legendary song ‘Dil pe nazz tha’ sung by Asha Bhosle, produced by Mapuia, Leitlang Picture in Lunglei.
The aforementioned Hindi video album also featured popular Mizo Rap singer Michael. M. Sailo who had assisted Tini with his ever popular English Rap. Tini, it may be mentioned had obtained the Golden Card from Anu Malik in the Eastern Region Audition Round of the Indian Idol contest at Kolkata. She even went to cross the hurdle of the Theatre Round in Mumbai (Top- 40). However, much to the agony of the people of Mizoram, she failed to make into the Top-25 in a Duet Round singing with Assamese singer Manik. However speaking to the media, Tini as confident as ever said “The sky is the limit for me and no one can stop me from achieving my cherished goals”.
