The pandemic has left a colossal impact on the country’s economy including political and social. Psychologically, it has taken a toll on everyone in many untold ways and is still continuing. The economic impact has led to unemployment, recession, financial uncertainty, the collapse of industries and essential services disruption to name a few. Political impact has led to increased restrictions in travelling, change in national and foreign policies, international and national tensions and of course political blame game to show that one is not doing enough to manage the country during such a crisis.

The formula of trace, test and treatment (T-3), adopted by the Uttar Pradesh Government, proved Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath numero uno across the country and abroad. Other states followed the formula and got success in defeating spread of corona virus.

With dedication, commitment and vision, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath defeated the second wave of corona. He always had been at the front line during the battle with covid epidemic. Though infected by the corona virus, he remained in the home isolation, remained vigilant and kept situation monitoring. He conducted virtual meetings with officials and directed them to be in touch with different walks of society.

Tokyo Olympics turned out to be the best ever outing for India in the history of the greatsporting extravaganza of the world. With one Gold, two silver and four bronze, the seven medal haul is the greatest ever podium finish for India till date. The icing is Neeraj Chopra’s gold, the first ever athletic medal for India since 1900.

Before the Tokyo games, the London Olympics 2012 was tagged the best performance for India with six medals – two silver and four bronze. In the Beijing Olympics 2008, although Abhinav Bindra won India’s first individual Olympic Gold medal in the Men’s 10m Air Rifle Shooting, India could win only three medals including two bronze.
